Great news. Now start lending money to those of us who want to buy houses and then the economy will really start up. If folks can't buy houses, then places like Yardbirds close (as they did) because they won't be buying plants and stuff for their yards, they won't hire contractors for remodels, they won't be buying paint to re-paint rooms, etc. etc. Home buying causes a positive ripple effect in the economy but until the banks start letting go of that money, the economy will stay in the toilet.
