LOL at "It's the stupidity, stupid." Putting a sign in his office, however, would do no good; he's never there. So we better tape it to every camera in town

He's green alright. Just look at all the cash stuffed in his pockets.

The headline should be "Job-killer mayor tells employeRs to get lost."

Antonio Viilaraigosa is quite possibly the worst mayor ever to efface Los Angeles and that includes Fletcher Bowron.(Woof Woof)

How many times did he fail that State Bar examination? Sad that
he's not as able at chasing and wooing business as he is skirts.

Guess we deserve this unthinking, unblinking political lackey.
He hasn't even filled the potholes. Tried driving on Los Angeles City streets lately? Advice-take the bus.

The boycott's a joke.

Just got back from AZ and there were countless CA license plates evidencing that Californians are visiting in large numbers and spending $$ there.

Mayor V and the City Clowncil are living on their own planet.

The Federal suit against AZ and its harrassment of Sheriff Arpaio show how out of touch Washington is.

Arizona is doing just fine. Whatever they may have lost due to the boycott - if anything - and the legal costs to defend against the Feds is surely being more than made up by the benefits of having fewer invaders on their soil.

More proof (like we needed it) that Mayor Villar's a retard. Who put him in office?! I wouldn't follow Mayor Vilar into a free buffet!

If it's a free buffet, he'll be at the head of the line.

He failed the Bar Exam four times. That in itself says a lot about his mental agility.

Is there a Term Limit on Mayor of Los Angeles? Or can this guy be Mayor for life?

Green policies are a farce, especially in L.A.; just look at the upcoming mandates in Title 24. Layers of additional paperwork and extortion in the guise of, "Earth-friendly laws," will only further crush the private sector small contractor, and pave the way to BIG UNION contractor. Carbon credits=enormous profits for the BIG UNION guys, but Tony Villa will tell us big business is the evil one.

The Mayor is doing a great job as a CELEBRITY representing his adoring fans...

He is also very attractive and has a nice smile.

He even sets a good example for his minions by riding a bicycle around at night.

Where he was going is no one's business.

AND... We should all believe the story about how some Taxi ran him off the road.

Those of you that don't like The Mayor should all just move somewhere else...

Pearblossom is still unspoiled. No police helicopters and sirens all night long.

No mayor whatsoever... No City Council either...

Only one traffic light and it has no Tax Camera so far.

No parking meters or otherwise unemployable Meter Maids...

No grid lock either.

The City of Los Angeles... LOVE it or LEAVE it...

Mayor Tony is just what the city deserves.

Yup! Our absentee news-hogging mayor is indeed green.
That's because he's been growing mildew from his unrelieved
damping down of the L. A. scene, politically, that is.
We should have known, two terms ago, but alas, the voting majority were once again taken in by flash and gleaming smile, instead of substance. "When will they (we) ever learn?", is not only a great line in a great song, but powerful political inquiry and imperative, not mere rhetoric.

Yup! Our globe-trotting, publicity hogging mayor with the gleaming smile and the glib statements is indeed turning green, as he dampens-down L. A. politics and economy, when he happens to be in town and not pursuing the flash elsewhere.

"When will they (we) ever learn?" is not merely a good line in a great song, but also commentary and imperative about our naive voting public who fall for such charlatans as our current Mr. Mayor.

This "Mayor" is a complete embarrassment. Los Angeles voted him in for a second term?!!

I laugh at the entire city of Los Angeles for rewarding such incompetent leadership.

This mayor wants to be the green Mayor, where are those million trees? It was all happy talk from the Mayor the first four years in office. He did nothing to advance our economy but try to get rid of companies that use a lot of energy to run their companies, even if it meant laying off workers. After all the Global Warming is coming. He, like obama wants some worker to caulk the windows and call it a green job. While heavy industry such as oil industry and other energy intensive industries are leaving our state.

The Mayor needs to realize that this city is bleeding and his remedy is more bleeding and leeches.

What would the Midget Mayor do if the two oil companies were to call his bluff and announce that they would close by the end of 2011? That they had no intentions of opening refineries anywhere in the country, so there's be no place for the employees to transfer?

I'll tell you what. A lot of refinery workers, workers on the docks where the barges come in, truckers, et al would be out of work. Two closed refineries put that much more burden on the ones remaining open. That means fuel shortages of ALL kinds. You can imagine the prices you'd pay the lines you'd wait in to pay it.

Tony would love that. He'd immediately turn it around to say that Big Business doesn't want to invest in Los Angeles. That they left because they didn't like the neighborhood. That he did his best to make the climate friendly and advantageous for them but that their excuses in refusing were hollow and he did his best to try and get them to stay.

That's L.A.'s mayor for ya. He'd cut off his nose to spite his face (not the first time), then call for a photo-op to show how far he stuck it out for L.A.

He needs to take some more Viagra, then stick the result of THAT out for cutting.

Once done; maybe he'll drop his pseudo-Macho posturing and get down to business. But I have no clue if he could undo the damage he's done with less than three years remaining and the inability to regain the people's trust.

L.A. is doomed. Phoenix, Tuscan and Scottdale are looking better and better all the time.

The company I work for thinks so, too. So do our 500 plus employees.

Win-win for us and AZ. L.A.'s loss. This city MADE it's choice.

Twice.
