If you think Brown is lily white and is capable of running this state you are so sadly mistaken. Already been tried.................and failed. Don't think Whitman is a prize, but she has a business background and that is what California needs.

my God people isn't clear by now that BOTH of them are unfit for public service?
Three debates and they STILL haven't told us how they will solve the state's #1 problem-the budget deficit. Both have spent their lives insulated from reality, and both are clueless egomaniacs.
Then of course when a REAL candidate who isn't running on special interest money shows up at a "green" debate she's arrested!
Laura Wells, Green party candidate, the only one in the race with a genuine concern for workers, consumers and the environment is excluding from the debates because the democrats and republicans think THEY OWN THIS GODDAMN STATE!
F-them, WE own it, and need to take it back from the thieves that are ruining it, vote repub and dem for the SOS, vote for Laura Wells if you want REAL change and NO MORE SELLING THE STATE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER-THIS AIN'T EBAY!

What a pompous schmuck. If that statement isn't the pot calling the kettle black, I don't know what is.

Meg and Carly are both poster girls for what destroyed our economy. Each of them fed like hogs at the trough, skimming the profits into their own bank accounts while they fired 10's of thousands of Californians, outsourcing their jobs to the coolies. Disgusting. And..so sad that any real American would ever consider voting for either of them.

Remember Gray Davis? We voted him into office, and within a very short time we booted his sorry arrse out. Empowered by the democrat machines victory, he gave away the $6 billion dollar "rainy day fund" to the public employee unions.
Much of our state's budget deficit originated from this very stupid move.
Jerry Brown will be Gray davis all over again.

Another compliment from the nothing that is "beyatch" and I am told you are Wiley, the infamous child porn king. I think you are really Adrain, but who cares? You are in fact, nothing. You contribute...NOTHING
You have NOTHING positive to add to any topic.
You have NOTHING but hate spewing from your diseased mind.

You are, in fact...NOTHING.

Meg once again made clear that her "plan" is indistinguishable from the problem. The problem is that the wealthy, who have tripled their share of the pie in just the past decade, pay a lower percentage of tax then the middle class. Meg, and all the Republicans would rather see hundreds of thousands lose their jobs, than bump the tax rates on the rich up incrementally. Meg's plan is to continue that race to a depression.

The wealthy have experience "catastpohic success" to borrow a phrase from W. They have beaten down, and continue to beat down , unions. They have kept wages down for 40 some years while their share increases by the day. But most amazingly, they have convinced a huge percentage of us, that all this class warfare - that Warren Buffett tells us they are winning - is something a working class person should vote for.

If half the electorate wasn't voting to screw themselves, Democrats - many of whom are frustrated by their own party's drift to the right - would feel free to switch over to the Greens or perhaps even some other party, rather then vote to prevent the worst of two choices.

We need to stop falling for all this song and dance about the wealthy using their tax welfare to produce jobs. If that was true, we wouldn't be in this mess. They use it to create monopoly -buy other companies - and create econpmic mischief. The only jobs they invest in are in China or somewhere other than here.

I am a lifelong democrat, but I cannot vote for Brown.
Laura Wells will get my vote.
