A clarification. Elisha never said that Varian "precisely focuses a laser" to treat cancer. Radiotherapy is not accomplished with a laser beam. It uses photons (high-energy X-rays). What Elisha said was that the technology "precisely focuses the dose, or the radiation, only on those cancer cells, which is where you want it to be." This transcription is inaccurate. I didn't want to leave people with the impression that lasers are being used to treat cancer.
