How do they have the authority to ask anything other than how many people live in each residence? That's all the constitution calls for.

Dems should come up with a plan to give poor people and immigrants money for completing the census. Or how about this? Instead of wasting all this money for commercials, give anyone who completes the census a check for $50. Almost everyone will complete it then.

ACORN may still be involved through any one of it's 2400 affiliates that receive federal, state and local funds. They will employ the same folks that you saw trying to help the pimp and his prostitute break the laws of this country. Refer to the Milwaukee Journal yesterday and today for the latest on ACORN fraud in voting as the District Attorney laid out his case against numerous ACORN employees. The question becomes, how many of us have become disenfranchised by the cheats on our voting system? And second question, why will we allow these same cheats to "count" in the census? How about this, YOU NEED TO PROVE WHO YOU ARE AND THAT YOU ARE HERE LEGALLY TO BE COUNTED AND VOTE. But the democrats will NOT allow that to happen. Reason? Duh, they can count on getting many illegals and "others" to vote more than once, or in this case, count as many as you can, illegal or not.

How much did it cost to send the nice letter telling me that the census is coming soon?

""For every person who is not counted, we stand to lose $1,000 per year in funds from the federal government," said Luz Maria Frias, the city of St. Paul's director of human rights and equal economic opportunity department. "Over the decennial period, that would be $10,000 per person." " I think Luz may be exagerrating just a little bit here.

With Money on the Line, Local Governments Urge Illegal Immigrants to Fill Out Census Cities, counties and states that haven't been very kind to illegal immigrants over the years are suddenly dusting off their welcome mats. With the 2010 census about to get under way, those undocumented residents will be worth a lot of money for the next few weeks. Jurisdictions across the country are reaching out to illegal immigrant communities, some of which are reluctant to participate, in an effort to convince them that filling out the census form is safe and that the information they provide won't be used against them. Counting every last resident is vital for these districts, because the census numbers will be used to determine funding as well as legislative districts. The more people an area has, the more money it is eligible for, and the more representation it can get in Congress -- which usually means even more money. "It helps us build our hospitals, schools, parks, libraries," said Michael Nowakowski, vice mayor of the city of Phoenix and the point person for the census on the City Council. But cities like Phoenix have a major trust gap to close. Phoenix is in the heart of Arizona's Maricopa County, where Sheriff Joe Arpaio is known nationwide for cracking down on illegal immigrants. (Excerpt) http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/03/04/mo... ---------- Have them fill in their complete information - address, employer, etc. so the INS can find them for deportation.

I like how the government sent out a letter BEFORE sending out the census papers indicating you'll be getting census papers in the mail. How stupid do they think people are? How many millions we're wasted on that?

May I suggest that you call your reps and support the new Federal I.D. card bill. It will be VERY hard to falsify by acorn.
