so...no spending cuts and no tax increase...

just more spending.

in their desparate attempt to make themselves look "more electable" to the voters, congress has made themselves look even worse.

they ALL need to go!

He is making the federal employees scapegoats. They already sustained a 2 year pay freeze and now he wants to further cut their pay with a higher pension contribution.

The Highway Trust Fund should be paid for by raising the gas tax.

NO!! Govt jobs were suppose to pay crap but there retirement benefits were good. We can't have it both ways. We can't afford it and yes I worked for the govt for 22 yrs. NO on higher gas tax. That will not force govt to change their spending habits!! We have replaced a monarchy with elected politicans but the peasants are still getting fleeced. I have to watch my checkbook, govt should do the same!

Yawn, you t-baggers said the same thing when you gave control of the Congress to t-bagger candidates.

Looks like the politician you supported lied to you...again.

You'll just support more t-baggers, so whats the point?

So....was this paid for when Bush put the taxcut in place?

Nope.

Did repubs complain?

Nope.

Did topix rightwingnuts complain?

Nope.

You rightwingnuts have no credibility.

Heck, yo borrowed to nation-build in a country full of Muslims who do not like the U.S.

You spent more protecting Iraqi borders than you did on U.S. borders.

So in essence what you're saying is 'I've got mine and everyone else can go to hell.' Typical!

We have a spending problem, not a revenue problem. If Obama loses the next election, what you will hear is how close social security is to running out of money. And we wander why!!
