It is a great place. I turned a job down there for more money and a closer location, but the people and culture there are night and day to most jobs in South Florida.

I didn't see that many people from India, and i'm Black. Did you ever wonder why these Indian people get the good jobs instead of you? In America they get American wages so it's not that they cost less. It's because they are smarter than you are. Somewhere an Indian man or woman is studying their craft while you're wasting your time reading and posting here.

You're fooling yourself about the wage issue..

H-1B's earn an average ~21K per year less than their counterparts.

Management also likes to work them extreme hours..

Lastly.. these imports aren't the best and brightest. Just young, naive, and cheap, dragging down the labor markets for ALL tech workers.

I.E.. More supply vs demand == lower wages, that's a fundemental rule of basic economics.

I too turned down a job with them, money was OK, bonus and other benefits ok, but the PTO was really really screwed up and they are weird, NO days off from December 15th trough the end of January for anyone, NONE, Nada.... and 10 PTO (vac and sick) and no more than 5 consecutive days off. So they try to cover up some of their Hitler like benefits with other fluffy ones.

Americans are LAZY....always have been and always will be......that is not something new. This is why the US is not even in the top 20 for education......very, very, very pathetic! But, hey, as long as we have iraq to waste our money on, then life is good!

Listen, I don't want anyone to give me anything, I will earn employment, as I will earn anything else I want or have!!!!!I'm not saying companies should give jobs to anyone period. I think you're missing the point of what I was saying. As a matter of fact when you finished school or whatever higher level of learning you sought, didn't someone or a company offer you an opportunity???? many Americans are just as resourceful as any other country in the world. This is not about old school thinking, I just don't think anyone should be putting down Americans. Anyone can be a master of something, so don't generalize all American people.

Next time, before you write an article about a companies great employee benefits.

Ask for a copy of ALL the LCA's (labor certification approvals) which have bee n approved on their behalf over the last six years.

A quick search of DOL FY 2007 database for Weston zip codes(33326, 33327).. Indicates that 139 LCA's were approved starting in Oct 2006..

Unknown is the exact percentage actually hired and reported to work.

I estimate 70to 80% actually made it into the states, and received the designated job. But that's another 100 US citizens(In Weston, FL) who won't be hired to a job in FY's 2007-2012 because of the H-1B program.

Just got back from 2 all expense paid days in Universal. Great hotel (Portifino), park passes, even gas money. This company is to be applauded for the way they take care of their employees (and families). I love that my wife is employed there and feel very lucky to be a part of a great company

I hope they have improved their payroll software product. We went through two years of H*** in the middle nineties with a clearly untested and imperfect product. We finally dumped them for something reliable.

They are so great that they have continuous turnover. THey can't keep a position filled since they advertise the same jobs over and over. I really wonder if these benefits are across the board or just for management.
