in 35 years when this PV farm has derated to a lower efficiency this 15 acres of land will be a valuable asset for crayola or the township. if it would have sat undeveloped it would have gone to heck. it sits around an industrial park that will surely expand in the next 20 years. Dont you think its better to have a solar farm there making a huge dent in the Crayola plant's CO2 emissions instead of a vacant parcel waiting for the right buyer and development.

Crayola will move to Mexico. They have begun their move. Tear down the building and make it GREEN again.

So untrue. Crayola is not moving to Mexico. We continue to manufacture more than 70% of our products in the United States ~ very few companies can say that.

This solar effort will power 30%+ of our Crayola crayon manufacturing and will have minimal invasion on the 15-acre field adjacent to our property. We are excited to add this environmental effort to many of the other things we have been doing for many years like recycling, reusing and reducing our footprint.
