United Airlines will offer buyouts to 600 senior flight attendants as the carrier scales back service because of record jet-fuel prices.

Maybe they should take it, I don't think UAL will be one of the majors that survives and then they get squat.

Pride comes before the fall. Not so long ago we (UA) thought we were bullet proof also.
