I am chomping at the bit for one of these cars, because it's the perfect commuter car in my mind, especially for me. I drive 30 miles a day and I can see that this will save me quite a bit of money. The only fear I have is winter driving....
And I wonder what Road and Track will say also...

I own a Smart car and drove it all winter in Kenora 'ON. approx. 100 plus miles north of the US-CDN. border. LOTS of snow and Smart didn't have any problems. It certainly not a 4 wheel drive, however for it's weight, and rear drive, I give this Smart Car the 2 thumbs up. Everything else aside, THE SMART CAR IS THE NEATEST CAR TO DRIVE.
