Can I drive a golf cart on the highway? What's the difference, oh it's got doors, so you don't fall out. It's a joke they didn't sell in Europe, so they dump them on gulible American's. The Smart4Two isn't smart. It's overpriced and slow, you'll get run over with the way aggressive American's drive. I hope it comes with a BURIAL policy as standard equipment. Where is the NHTSA when you need them? Did DCX get a free pass? Forget the enviroment, it won't matter if your'e dead.

I'm buying one too. It just makes sense to do so. If your that bad a driver that your "afraid" to be in it then don't buy it. You can keep the arabs rich with your money....not mine.

I am disappointed at some of the ignorent comments being made about smart cars from people who clearly have never even driven one. 750,000 Smart cars hav been sold in Europe to date and whilst it cannot be quoted as an economic success for Daimler Chrysler because of the huge investment that went into it, they are still amazing cars. In point of fact you are more likely to have an accident in an SUV as some SUV drivers are intellectually more challenged (slow) and are therefore more likely to make the wrong decisions on the road

Any car crushed between two semi trucks would kill everyone in it, even an SUV
