I own a saturn. The dealer in Monrovia closed one year after the car was purchased. Then Alhambra and Glendale. So i had to drive to either Cerritos or Whittier, which was about 20+ miles away. The Whittier service writer was not a pleasant experience. i tried van nuys and they were just as fun to deal with. The best experience was santa monica, where my car was held over for one month as they failedf to deliver a warrantee job as promised. I will never own another GM car because of the problems faced with their so called great product. from here on out, I drive imports. Support the foriegn market and delete bad service from your life.

As a former Sales Consultant at Galpin Motors for six years, four of them at the Saturn store, I am truly shocked by this news. The Saturn product and company combined with the high standards set at Galpin by Bert Boeckmann made for customer service and satisfaction that was hard to match. I not only continue to wonder what is happening to our auto industry but feel for the many friends I still have that are employees of the two Saturn stores in the Galpin Family. My heart and prayers go out to all of you!

Not enough deference paid to the unions. Send your thank you notes to the UAW care of the GM Office at the White House.

I think it's a shame that GM has sold out Saturn customers and future buyers. Perhaps Galpin could build it's own factory here in Burbank and produce the Saturn itself. Yeah! I know it';s a big expense, But the rewards will off shoot that.

I've been a Saturn owner for years. It's one of the best cars I've owned. I also think its a crime that GM couldn't make the effort to keep a reasonable priced, low maintenance, good looking vehicle alive for its' customers. Look around! You see lots of Saturns on the road! And for good reason! As for service, I always had excellent service from my Torrance Dealership! Believe me, if the Saturn Brand does disappear, I will never buy another GM Product... EVER!

We've had 4 saturns in our family. We have always appreciated the excellent service from the Santa Clarita store. It's sad that this reasonably priced line of cars will be no longer available. I bought my Aura in the 1st week that it was available and have never regretted it. When it came out, I thought that the Saturn brand had become competitive with the higher quality names. It's a shame that I'll have to look for a new brand.
