Well, I am not surprised.
Comcast is only interested in making MONEY anyhow.
And Santa Cruz County gets to pay MORE than most other
places in northern California for service.
Somehow the Board of Supervisors when negotiating a contract with this company BLEW IT!! They neglected to fully investigate Comcast and what it was prepared to offer the County of Santa Cruz. And how much the public here was expected to pay. Shame on you for doing a sub-par job. I hope one of these days we can elect people to the board with forsight and INTELLIGENCE. Or maybe it is just a matter of caring enough?

We will all be better off not seeing the Giants with the team they have.

Well maybe I'll drop cable and go to mlb.com to see all the games I want. If enough people do that [even for a month or a week or...] maybe they'll get the idea and see that they BLEW it. Let's keep their phones busy tomorrow. Of course who knows if they even answer their phone in Scotts Valley. PATHETIC. I don't mind the game on radio, but the signal where I live gets a lot worse in the evening. PATHETIC.

How interesting where I live in Capitola the local council struck a deal with Charter as sole providers of cable in the city so Comcast isnt an option.
So Capitola Council are you going to force Charter to show the games or are we going to be dicriminated against?

Hrrmmm... I live near Scotts Valley and see that DirecTV has the game tonight on CSNB (654) and CSNBHD (654-1), which I assume is a replacement for Fox Sports Network. Watching the A's last night in HD on 654-1, it seems like CSN is Comcast Sports Network. My understanding is that we will now be able to see the Giants in HD this year as a result of this new arrangement.

It would have been nice if they had scrolled the information on the screen like fsn usually did when there was conflicts in scheduling and then people would have know to tune way up to channel 185. That was the last place I thought about. And of course the Sentinel had no clue until after the fact as evidenced by the paper saying it was on channel 6. What a joke, as usual.

mlb.com has the audio at $19.99/year...there's an interactive screen you can "watch" the pitches... We can't see the Dodgers beaning our Posey twice already, but at least we can hear our Kruk and Kuip... MLB.com is like $39.99/mo...too expensive for my wallet.
