Yeah that would have been good. The stock will ultimately come down soon especially with all major contracts up soon. However for people who are all over netflix here's something to keep in mind for the company you support over Blockbuster. Netflix is writing congress to complain about an FCC proposed tax on them over the increasing amount of bandwidth their streaming takes up. They want to push that tax onto the internet companies and to the tax payers instead of them saying they do not or will not cause any problems to the internet infrastructure (an obvious lie considering PC world already talked about the huge lag times that are occurring during peak hours). Netflix is greed and why this country that I love also pisses me off sometimes. Netflix is the ultimate idea for lazy people. It fits in with our culture of obesity and having everything at our fingertips. It also does little good for our country economically. It employs just over 600 (which that number is shrinking with warehouse closures), and most of which are warehouse workers and probably something like a call center or two. It doesn't donate anything. I tried looking for anything and the biggest thing I saw them do was give a million dollars to AT&T for that technology that uses your movie choices to give you personalized recommendations, which it was sued over for breach of privacy. If you cared about people and your community visit whatever local video store there is even if you have Netflix like I do. So you can have the occasional convenience of streaming, to go alongside getting off our fat asses and putting money into our local community. I go to Blockbuster for new releases and games, Netflix to stream some TV episodes, and Movie Madness when I want something from the criterion collection. This makes me sound like all I do is watch movies, but it's not. Most of my time is spent doing something else but a movie a week is pretty typical for me.
In Canada because of this problem with bandwidth the regulatory commission lowered the bandwidth in residential from 200 GB to 25 GB. So now they pay the same money for less bandwidth because of Netflix. Instead of Netflix demanding them change that or reduce the cost of subscriptions for these customers they simply cut the video quality by 2/3's. So your paying same money for lower quality and your paying same money for internet with less usage because of Netflix. It's like a lose-lose for everyone except Netflix, cause they still get your money, but they don't help to provide any jobs, or your community, and ultimately will hurt internet users in the future. Imagine if your a gamer, you might get to play online like a couple times a month with your low-resolution Netflix pictures. Realize that Blockbuster isn't the enemy, and Netflix is just doing what's best for it's shareholders and itself.

I like many of your comments 'Think for Once' that Netflix isn't good for people, like not getting out and interacting with others at their local video store. Netflix will eventually fall like Nortel fell. The independant video store will once again florish after BB goes and Netflix falls.

Netflix is one of the best things that could happen to people. Making the companies work for the customer instead of the other way around. Technology is a must nowadays and if you do not embrace it and choose to go to Blockbuster instead, you will be deemed inept.
