Tea party complicated GOP Senate math

Nov 6, 2010 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The Topeka Capital-Journal

Tea party-backed candidates proved both a help and a hindrance to Republicans in the midterm elections, injecting enthusiasm into campaigns around the country but losing Senate seats held by Democrats in Delaware, Colorado and Nevada that the GOP once had big hopes of capturing.

Taking 6+ seats was absolutely perfect. It puts them in position to block if more bad things are shoved forward by Jackasscrats. Obama is still on the hook.

Can you imagine the how much Obama would have complained and blamed No congressional help in pushing socialism if Jackasscrats had lost the senate?

Obama's already the worst. If he didn't get the message with Scott Brown winning in Mass. I doubt he gets the message a historical overtaking of the House means. Obama is just the wrong guy. Too partisan & thin skinned. Not proud of our country.

Obama must grow up and show the ability to learn. He's the worst so far and I doubt he's honest or capable enough to change as the people have demanded. We need to remove him as soon as possible.

The tea party must not be influenced by the old guard repubs. The warmongers and the RINO'S must go. the direction of the party must go right. Much more right and peace loving. It must balance the progressive communists in power and control of the democratic party. They will steal no more money from us. No more. You progressives start cleaning up your crap. Start getting rid of the corruption or we will become a nation of several nations. The richest ones will lose that told money and the ones in the best location will be less competitive for trade if the other states can receive goods cheaper from other nations around us. For decades you were warned. Calling people haters. Destroying them just for asking to use common sense. We still are not doing it. But we will. We will...

All this time I thought the liberal left communist democrat followers were the biggest hindrance to the GOP, not the teaparty movement.

Tea Partiers are conservatives ... not of the ilk of RINO Republicans.

The Tea Party did what was best for the country. Dems can't say that ever again and repubs better not stray to the other side.

As I said from the start, the Teabaggers would cost the GOP control of the Senate. Any republican could have won Florida & Kentucky this year, just like any normal GOP could have won Delaware, Nevada, & Colorado.

The Teabaggers weren't looking at the big picture. A RINO in Delaware & Colorado & Nevada would have given them contol of the Senate. Instead they went for "purity" and cost the GOPasaurs contol of Congress.

And by insisting on "purity", the teabaggers will splinter the Republican Party, while risking many of the moderate and independent voters that drive elections.

From what Ive heard so far is that most of the demtards I know voted dem due to they didn't really watch the real news but watched cnn and msnbc ..All their facts came from the opinions of washed up commentators and comedians..And most even fell for those attack adds...My mother voted for hickenpooper because of the attack adds he produced and didnt see that Tom didnt run any and has more respect and integrity to do such a thing...Hick doesn't.. And His supporters threw out so much crap adds as well.. If hick wasn't such a f...up he would have stopped the attack lies and run on his accomplishments . Which brings up other issues..What has hick done that people of Denver actually approved of ?..NOT MUCH...Really nothing I can think of..Oh yea ,an example.. Hick paid four girls 40,000 bucks to crochet little flowers for construction fences downtown...Yep can you believe that ....I about s.h.i.t when I heard he wanted to spend our money doing that..He gives hand outs to illegals but Denys help to our own homeless...He spearheaded the City of stapleton project...Did we really need a shopping city in the middle of an industrial area and a ghetto....Well Ill tell you why he did that..It was to bring more people to Denver to vote for him..people from other states ...Real estate was advertised in other states for the beautiful city of stapleton..Ive met several people that moved here from other states and bought a house in The city of Stapleton ..And now cant get out of that area fast enough...like Green valley ranch...Advertised in other states ...people buy ,,move in ,,find out it is where the successful crack dealers move to from montghetto..and cant wait to sell and move..watched it for years...been in many of those households I mentioned..Hick is just another con man and just wants to put his name on something..maybe we could change Pena blvd to the chickenpooper expressway..It sickens me that he supports illegals and you voted for that...

Let's talk about Michigan instead of the Senate. How about losing the governorship and control of both houses of your legislature?
I can't wait to see the new district boundaries in Michigan. These new boundaries will affect politics in Michigan for more than 10 years.

Nationally, Republicans gained control governorships and legislatures in 16 additional states. They flipped almost 700 state legislative seats from democrat to Republican in this election. This is the most sweeping defeat for democrats since the early 1920's.

I can't wait for 2012.

Let's see what the old guard republicans will do with the House. If they stick to their old ways, then yes, 2012 will open the door for democrats.

Now, Boehner and McConnell will have to adjust or lose the House and country in 2012. They will walk a fine line.

The American people, I believe, want less government intrusion, more circumspect spending and governing.

The Tea Party not only flushed out some ornery, old time republicans, but filtered out some old ornery democrats, too.

A cleansing is good, but let's watch out for 2012.

Old guard republicans need to bring forth those Young Guns.

Democrats will still have those same old faces to put on the tv screen. It will be their downfall.

Change, still needs to be undertaken in both parties.

The beauty of this split is that Obama continues to have NO EXCUSES that will resonate with voters anymore.

By the Way, Where is Obama? Indonesia or India? Doesn't seem very strange that with all the problems at home, Obama takes another vacation and spends Millions in another country to boot!

Most normal citizens don't like extremism no matter if it comes from the right or left. The treasonous teabaggers will cost the gop dearly in future elections once their theocratic goals are revealed. Those of you screaming 'socialism''communist,' and 'Marxism' need a remedial course in political science!

Dear, our presidents in the past, present and future will visit foreign countries, help foreign relations, get business for our country and mend diplomatic fences with our friends and allies. That is part of their job.

What’s worse than the woefully misinformed Teabaggers taking their programmed ignorance to the streets to rail against the social safety net many of them rely on to live, is their de-facto high priest of histrionics, Glenn Beck, who has now openly admitted to Forbes magazine that his campaign to cultivate fear and incite civil unrest is motivated purely by his sociopathic quest for the unholy dollar.

HE'S IN IT FOR THE MONEY!!!!
