OK, What about crossing a busy roadway NOT IN A CROSSWALK don't you all understand. This person, like many others, was NOT IN A CROSSWALK. At night, god bless her sole. Please people, do not jaywalk. This is what can happen.

Are you saying it should be OK to run over pedestrians if they arn't in a crosswalk?

Don't you think ALL drivers should be required to keep their eyes on the road at all times NOT just where there is a crosswalk?

Do you think it should be legal to run over a pedestrian IF they are out of a crosswalk?

Just trying to figger out your thoughts on the subject.

No, not at all. What I am saying is that if you are so ignorant as to think that a 3000 pound mass can defer to your inability to follow common sense rules, you are quite mistaken. I am not, as a driver, expecting anything to appear in front of me in the dark. If this would have been a dog, or child, the exact same hing would have happened. Pedestrians are part of the solution and should not be part of this ever increasing problem. Think about it. And start witnessing the foolish behavior of pedestrians and bicyclists.
