I have found that most toro parts to be ridiculously out priced. i order what i though was a front set of brakes pads for our toro workman and found that they were 93.48 i was shocked till they came in the mail to find out there were only 2 pads in the set ,now i was upset and called toro and asked what was going on they said it was how they sell them and if i wanted the other side they could ship them right out. now we talking 196.96 for a front set of pads wow what is this a rolls royce? so i did some research and found a place to buy brake pad material and sanded the old pads and bonded new pad material to the old backings . i used jb weld the original because it with stands heat up to 600 degrees so far so good and i thing the stop better then the oem pads !if you have any questions let me know ? i got less then $20 into redoing 8 pads so to complete sets of front brakes versus almost 400 for oem pads for both our carts! you can do what you like and professionally bonded pads are better than jb weld bonded . but this is a way to cut price gouging ! there are local riline shop that will do this for cheaper then oem also !
