With our (U.S.A.s)rescources at a low,at least thats what were told, the state better figure it out before the federal goverment takes over. This and all oil feilds fall under Homeland securities watchful eye .So it would make since to just take it over and get the job done.We built a pipeline not to long ago,.Have we forgotten how? Or are we tied up in red tape other wise known as ( MONEY).Who will get it?,and who will pay for it? Come on we want to see a pro active local goverment. Now we may see if we have a future (Female President from alaska) Who can get it done?

i think we should have more information about what is being done at this point, palin said she would have an open administration, so there shouldn't be anything to hide.

It is difficult to evaluate the merits of the business case absent all the facts.

It has been a long time since I have seen any political official make a business deal that considered the true long term economics and risks. Generally speaking they look at what credit they can claim now and let the those in the future deal with the consequences.

I am not making any judgements but frankly based on what I what I have seen and heard from Governor Palin, I would not give her the benefit of doubt. I would much rather see this debated and then voted upon by the Alaskan legislature and have them put their seal of approval on this.
