TransCanada has put the horse before the cart in comming into Nebraska before even getting permits from Canada for the Keystone Project. TransCanada needs to prove that the market can support the pipeline (Embridge is building a pipeline for the same market) and that the pipeline can be built without compromising the environment--and TransCanda hasn't done either at this point. In fact, TransCanada wants to bury the pipeline on my farm 4 feet deep below the soil surface above the Aquifer. It is deplorable to use eminent domain for economic development. The only way TransCanada can get support is by waving the all mighty dollar in front of County Commissioners and the State of Nebraska.
