Both Republicans and Democrats are committed to the XL pipeline. The ONLY difference is that the Democrats require a careful routing and environmental risk assessment FIRST, while the Republicans don't care unless their mansions or water sources are directly threatened.

Democrats will lose so many elections because of the job killing they took part in. Romney, and the Republicans will be remembered as the people who put us back to work.

The KPL is not supported by either party in Texas at the local level because millions of acres of land are being taken over under "imminent domain" excuse while paid off judges look the other way and agree that a FOREIGN corporation can take away American soil for their PROFITS. Canadian companies get rich off American working class farmers.

Lesshype is an obvious shill for Big Oil, and Foreign big oil at that, spouting propaganda for an American political party (Democrat/Socialist) that supports foreign interests taking over American soil.

Emminent domain. Obviously your grasp of the subject is weak.
"Our permit does allow us to use eminent domain to acquire an easement and provide compensation for the landowner. We prefer to avoid the use of eminent domain and if we cannot reach an agreement, then we turn to the independent processes/hearings that are established in the local jurisdiction."

Basically only the US Government can implement eminent domain. YOUR politicians. In the local GOVERNMENT are the only source of such moves and only if they consider the net benefit to the majority to be greater than the inconvenience of the few.

"Like many American companies with operations in Canada, we are incorporated and registered in both Canada and the United States. We currently have 1,631 talented employees in 33 U.S. states. Our U.S. operations are headquartered in Houston and will be responsible for the U.S. construction of Keystone XL."

So actually, it is mostly about US companies getting profits from Canadian operations. MOST of the Canadian oil profits are owned by foreign companies that only register in Canada to enable their operations locally.

BOTH parties are behind KXL pipeline. As I said, the only difference is in adherence to good standards.

But you are WAY off on my position. I personally would prefer a pipeline to the Eastern Canada. I'm tired of being ripped off by US refiners with Canadian oil.

But you have the power to extract Canadian resources at near bottom prices. Our major oil companies have mostly been bought by US interests, hence the drive to put in a pipeline to Texas. i.e. you CAN take it with you..

They started almost four years ago. But now, the progress is at risk of being stopped by another know nothing party planner, ordering on credit and hoping that the bill will come AFTER he passes out.

The US hasn't returned to the Glass Steiger act. They are still vulnerable to 'short term stimulus, long term junk debt' and the Romney is a past master at stripping companies of their assets and leaving a dead corpse with the unemployed to mourn over. To expand this to national scale is insane.

What is most disturbing is that some people are buying his message even though it consists of pure platitudes with NO functional reality. i.e $5B in income loss with NO explanation of who will pay for it. Guess what, America. YOU will pay. Mostly the 47% that Mitt doesn't care about. Most of whom are working poor in Red States.. they will bring it on themselves, just as Canada did with our slick haired willy.

And you will get an America you don't recognise..

The job killer was the economic crash engineered by GWB to hide the 'unfunded losses' of the two wars he wanted.

"Freddie Mac recently began 25 initiatives around the country to dismantle barriers and create greater opportunities for homeownership. One of the programs is designed to help deserving families who have bad credit histories to qualify for homeownership loans."
President Bush's 2002 Speech at the Conference on Minority Home Ownership at George Washington University

It enabled a 'boom time' in home ownership and the business to fill them by making loans for home ownership to many who could not really afford them. It gave the GWB era a 'versimilitude' of prosperity under a right wing mandate. UNTIL THE BILLS CAME DUE.

Want another boom to bust? Vote Romney. He's the guy who knows how to spend money. What else does he do with his life? You cannot expect him to dirty his $200 manicure.

In hope, we will remember both parties making and effort to get people back to work. Well maybe people need make an effort to put themselves back to work. When you open your eyes you will see that there are plenty of jobs out there. Sorry if you have to make an effort like moving to another State in this Great Country of ours where the jobs are plenty. We the people make the decisions as to who runs our Government. So stop the nonsense and make change from them versus us.

The rich hand out jobs & sub-survival wages, where people need 2+ jobs to live. That's why the rich have enough money to hand out $100 million bonus, retirement & stock option packages to their high up paper pusher & people shover cohorts.
re-pubic-lick-uns are also cohorts, as re-pubic-lick-uns vent unilaterally to allow tax breaks to the rich, less services to the poor, more hard ass tactics against worker bees, & police forces to break good unions.
Yeah, we make the decisions who runs the gov't & re-pubic-lick-uns are having a major problem getting their billions of dollars of worker bee earned stealings, to slick political rails.

Well than if you can't afford it don't buy it. People need two jobs to keep up with (the joneses) against each other. We the people made them rich and famous. What happened with just say no? So when that Dem. Rep. Banker makes you an offer that's too good to be true than JUST SAY NO. It is much easier to point the finger than to except responsibility for your own actions.

Have many weapons and have no rich man defender posture. Do have common sense not to spend more than I earn. PHD (BIG LETTERS ONLY) do tell all how the rich man attained his rich posture. Are you willing to give away your rich posture if and when you attain such riches?

Bet you're not on minimum wage(that re-pubic-lick-uns won't raise), feeding a family, like many working poor.
