Cyber Monday

Dallas, TX

What a SCAM! I tried purchasing an item on Cyber Monday at 9:00 PM that was listed In Stock and on sale for $35 less than MSRP. However, I could not place it in my cart, so I called Babies R Us only to be told it was in fact Out of Stock. I went back online at 8:00 am the next morning and guess what? It is In Stock and I'm able to place it in my cart...for the MSRP! I called the Hot Line just to hear a bunch of apologies, and they had no information about when shipment deliveries were made that day/night. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they were all busy and it would be at least a 10 minute wait, but the sale was off. I'll be buying the item at Wal-Mart for less than Babies R Us' MSRP! I believe this is as close to the ole Bait & Switch practice as it comes!

I totally understand, Bookend. They are completely out of stock on just about everything they have on sale. Don't put things on sale and not have enough for people. Times are tough as it is, and we don't need even further disappointment in our lives. It's very frustrating to get our hopes up that we might actually be able to provide a good Christmas for our kids, but then not be able to because the stores don't have enough of their items on sale for everyone to purchase. They only add to the misery that our country is facing right now. They should be ashamed of themselves.
