Is it time yet to start thinking about a boycott of all Chinese manufactured goods? Problem is, I probably couldn't find a product that isn't made there anymore. Let's bring all these jobs back to America where we can better oversee production!!

I would dispose of any toys found in our home collection. However, should I be doing something different? Does this pose a risk to the environment?

Toys from China will still be coming. Toys R US will be doing a better job in presenting the Chinese counterparts with more clear specs and Toys R Us's 'quality assurance' department should be more careful in checking and in inspecting the Chinese adherence to their specs when accepting the finished production before shipping to us.

Toys from China will still be coming until the day that we can manufacture our own toys at a competative price.

Think of getting rid of our Minimum Wage Laws, instead. If Germany can do it, why can't we? Our Minimum Wage Laws only encourage illegal immigration from the third world countries.

It is interesting to see how the "dirty marketing" campaigning of the US media is working. In fact it is doubtful that the Chinese companies have done something wrong. I am not aware if you know the strict practice of companies like Mattel, Toys -R-Us and other which are never permitting shipment of products without so called LAMA test, which is the non-toxic certification of products done by USA laboratories.
In fact it is important to know that the USA LAw has changed and also the rules for lead content. Also NO ONE had been injured so far from lead content, because it is impossible to be injured with such small quantities. It is more hysterical what is going on and it is fashion to put the blame on the Chinese manufacturers. A new kind of trade war. Yes it is a war, at least 1 Chinese manufacturer has already committed suicide.

American companies using this situation to clean their stock and warehouses from"slow moving items" and try to increase their price pressure in Chinese companies. That;s whats all about. Not safety, not share values.... just profit !!!

The Chinese manufacturer was dumb to have commited suicide. I hope it is a made up story. I hope it is not true. Mattel, Toys R Us and others should shoulder the bill for the recall. 'Change order' in manufacturing cost extra money.
