Even if you cut that number in half, its still disturbing! Why isn't something being done about this? They should force feed lead to the CEO of Mattel!

Its amazing what big business will do to take make more money. First, they ship all manufacturing to asia to save money on labor, even though it puts americans out of work and has destroyed our economy and secondly, they let the foreign manufacturers use safety standards from the days of the Shirtwaist fire and third, they allow dangerous chemicals to be used in these products. All that to make a few bucks extra without thinking about what will happen in the future. Merry Christmas kids, enjoy the lead paint and other toxins!

If the government of the people, for the people, by the people really wanted to stop it they could and would. Unfortunately big business has the government of the people, for the people, by the people in its pocket.
Our government should threaten, harshly, that if there are any more products that are importing into this country; especially for children, that not up to the standards that are imposed to our specifications; we will cease all incoming products form China.
Really what do have to lose? Maybe it would force the American businesses to manufacture in the U.S.A., now that would be a novel idea, "Made in the U.S.A."?

The children that play with these toys have sinned in the past and they are now paying for those sins. Plain & simple. "For the lord will punish thy sinner, as he who seeks vengeance on the shepherd will lie with the Beast" Luke 12:9. This recent toy contamination issue is a clear example of what happens to those who seek false gods.
I can't BELIEVE no one has responded to this absolutely INSANE NONSENSE!!!! The CHILDREN have sinned?????????? I can tell you one person that is sure to go to HELL (IF I believed in such a place) and that's ROGER STANTON. What a waste of a life!

The Chinese are not stupid. They know the difference between a safe toy and a dangerous one. I dont trust them. Dont import these items from them. I have reason to believe this is not an accident. I look at my 15 month
grandson and I go berserk at the thought of anyone harming him. Anyone at all. Makes me want to go to the chinks and kick the shit out of the owner

Maybe China is trying to dumb down a whole generation of american children by rotting their brains with lead . With all the crap we already feed their minds with the lead should finish the job.

<quoted text>I will pray for you. It is evident to me and everyone on this board that you are angry with the Lord. Perhaps a lost loved one, or some other tragedy that causes you to question your faith. Please, open your heart to his greatness. "For he who is one with the son of God shalt forever be in his name." Matthew26:9.
I forgive you for your angry response.
For I am a forgiving lamb of the shepherd.
Now go ahead and suck my balls.
Also, might want to go ahead with the Adult Ed Computer literacy class....this way you don't post the same post three-four times...

If the majority of citizens of the US made it a point to buy American it would make enough of an impact to make our government and big business pay attention. Think about that next time you go shopping, especially for big ticket items such as cars, computers
get the point
