Trend IS 2009 Can not change profile on Firewall

Hello

I recently aquired Trend Micro 2009 3 licences
however on one of my machines when I try to change the profile or adjust the firewall settings on the current profile, when I try to save it I get an error
"unable to save changes to the current Personal Profile please re-start Trend Micro IS and try again" .. I have tried this several times ( I have also clicked the restore firewall to default )
all to no avail .. can anybody help me with this

1.Close the Trend Micro Internet Security main console if it is open.
2.Click on Start > My Computer.
3.Double-click Local Disk C: then double-click on the Program Files folder.
4.Look for the Trend Micro folder then open it.
5.Look for the Internet Security folder then open it.
6.Double-click on the TISTool.exe file. It has a red and white lifesaver icon. The Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit window appears.
7. Click on the UNINSTALL tab and then click on the 3. Uninstall Firewall button to begin the uninstallation.
8. Restart the computer

**Do the steps 1 to 8 to reinstall Firewall back.

I've done this so many times. Sent pc info to Trend. It does NOT work! This is a bad program

Besides Trend people has anyone else had a similar problem using Win. XP PRO?

Most frustrating...cannot set it up for the Microsoft Activestink connection.

Really some bad programming.

I also get this message when trying to change the firewall profile.

Re: Trend Problem I had. I solved my problem: I unstalled the programs completely and installed Norton Internet Security. My firewall now works. The customer support at Trend is terrible! Don't buy it!

NORTAN IS THE WORST ANTIVIRUS U CAN BUY! Ive been using Trend micro for about 4 years now and its never once steered me wrong. I believe the problem is with trend micro itself. just uninstall and reinstall the whole lot. Should fix the problem
