It means that now the good guys will be able to raise 2 billion dollars instead of 1billion to fight the lies of the unpatriotic right-wing republicans/tea-baggers as we re-elect our Osama-killing President.

I’m glad that President Obama came around on this issue; you have to fight fire with fire and I say we raise enough money to by the company that makes the matches and the fire department, LOL.

It means that the President is not going to deny the reality that the fascistic leaning Reich-wingers are going to laundry $10's of MILLIONs of $$$.

“We can’t allow for two sets of rules in this election whereby the Republican nominee is the beneficiary of unlimited spending and Democrats unilaterally disarm.” Jim Messina, President Obama's campaign manager

FACT: Super PACs established for the sole purpose of defeating the President -- along with "nonprofits" that also aren't required to disclose the sources of their funding -- have raised more than $50 million. In the aggregate, these groups are expected to spend half a billion dollars, above and beyond what the Republican nominee and party are expected to commit to try to defeat the President.

Yes it does:

Announcing the invasion of Iraq on March 19, 2003, Mr. Bush said, "Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised."

Two months into the war, on May 29, 2003, Mr. Bush said weapons of mass destruction had been found.

"We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories," Mr. Bush told Polish television. "For those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them."

On Sept. 9, 2004, in Pennsylvania, Mr. Bush said: "I recognize we didn't find the stockpiles [of weapons] we all thought were there."

During the 2000 campaign, George W. Bush argued against nation building and foreign military entanglements. In the second presidential debate, he said: "I'm not so sure the role of the United States is to go around the world and say,'This is the way it's got to be.'"

The United States is currently involved in nation building in Iraq on a scale unseen since the years immediately following World War II.

During the 2000 election, Mr. Bush called for U.S. troops to be withdrawn from the NATO peacekeeping mission in the Balkans. His administration now cites such missions as an example of how America must "stay the course."

In a press conference in September 2002, six months before the invasion of Iraq, President Bush said, "you can't distinguish between al Qaeda and Saddam when you talk about the war on terror... they're both equally as bad, and equally as evil, and equally as destructive."

In September of 2004, Mr. Bush said: "We've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with September 11th." Though he added that "there's no question that Saddam Hussein had al Qaeda ties," the statement seemingly belied earlier assertions that Saddam and al Qaeda were "equally bad."

The Sept. 11 commission found there was no evidence Saddam was linked to the 9/11 attacks, which killed nearly 3,000 people.

Last year Obama criticized the Court’s ruling and asked Congress to reverse the ruling and put in place the rules Congress had previously passed. Congress did nothing.

Now the Right has armed themselves with Super Pac dollars and is ready for a hard fight.

It would not make sense to show up at a gun fight carrying a bat. Obama has sent a message to the Republicans and Democrats, letting them know that he will enter this fight using the same weapons – fully armed.

This might become the most interesting election this nation has ever had.

I say -- let the games begin....

WHATS ANOTHER FLIP FLOP FROM THE PARTY OF MAJOR FLOPS.

WASHINGTON — President Obama is signaling to wealthy Democratic donors that he wants them to start contributing to an outside group supporting his re-election, reversing a long-held position as he confronts a deep financial disadvantage on a vital front in the campaign. HAHAHAHA DISADVANTAGE…HAHAHAH

THIS IS NOW, BUT IN 2010……….OBAMA WHINED ABOUT FUNDS FROM COPORATIONS.

Obama 2010: Super PAC ads 'corporate takeover'
byCharlie Spiering Commentary Staff Writer

In August 2010, President Obama used his weekly address to denounce the flood of attack ads run by "shadowy groups with harmless sounding names."

"The worst thing of all they don't have to reveal who is having to pay for them." Obama said, criticizing Republicans for "keeping the American public in the dark."

"We can not allow a corporate takeover of our democracy," Obama added, vowing to fight this type of advertising. "Let's challenge every elected official who benefits from these ads to defend this practice or join us is stopping it." he declared.

"Millions of Americans are struggling to get by and their voices shouldn't be drowned out by millions of dollars in secret special interest advertising," Obama added, "Their voices should be heard."
