This article does not sound like Ezra Klein's other musings. On the one hand, the writer pokes fun, I guess, at campaign swag. Then he blithely tells us that President Obama could change politics or policy, and that he meekly chose policy. What about his trying to keep the country together, to reverse direction in attitude toward the Middle East, and to rework our broken health care system? Policy comes from perspective and the President represents a point of view 180 degress different from and in my mind superior to the current position of the Republicans. I can not say the same for the rest of the Democratic Party, unfortunately.
