This bio-fuel is required to maintain our national defenses. Independent of oil and their sources. Gee why don’t they buy it from Brazil? Less than $3 per gallon there. How long before we can catch up with an emerging 3rd world nation. LOL regressive party ,[republicans],will see to it that we will never be able to be a nation of leadership, ever again if they have their way. Sale-ing us out to China to pay for their illegal war in IRAQ! Rove will have us learning Chinese. He is in an intimate relations with them. He will put in a good word for us. A true regressive, he be…

This bio-fuel is FOUR TIMES the cost of conventional fuels.

FOUR TIMES the cost

FOUR TIMES!

FOUR!

And for what? Navy Secretary Ray Mabus says "There was no difference with the fuel."

FOUR TIMES the cost for "no difference."

That's a lot o' green, bub.

Even greener if we shrank the Navy to about a quarter its current size, and the rest of the military, too. Along with closing about 9/10ths of our bloated list of overseas bases.

That's REAL savings...and really green.

They'll keep paying less then three dollars a gallon as long as Geroge Soros and his oil companies keep under selling American oil companies. Part of this plan to "bring down America!" He's willing to break even to destory American Oil. He's also one of nobama's biggest contributors, jughead.

After the total world chaos if America was to do that, you wouldn't see real savings for long, stupid. You'll be seeing foriegn troops getting closer, the seas taken over by rogue nations, demanding unfair trade programs and the free world begin to crumble.

Funny how idiots like you don't remember our history lesson of unprepardness before WWII, thanks to FDR. Had the Japs caught our carrier in Pearl Harbor, you wouldn't be here spouting your socialist garbage each day. You're as dumb as they come, boy.

From the article:
"Congressional critics, led by Republican Senator John McCain, have argued biofuel is far too expensive for the military to help develop when defense budgets face massive cuts.
But Navy Secretary Ray Mabus said the demonstration proved that the green-fuels blend, while about four times more costly per gallon than conventional fuels, was safe and effective in combat situations."

Maybe the military, in this case the Navy, is testing alternatives just in case the petroleum supply is cut off. They must be ready to defend the country regardless of costs. The government (US Navy) has proved the concept is sound, now let's see if the private sector can bring down the costs.

Let's see if nobama and the left will ever ALLOW the private sector to do anything again!

Pipeline--cut

“Small groups of persons can, and do, make the rest of us think what they please about a given subject. But there are usually proponents and opponents of every propaganda, both of whom are equally eager to convince the majority.”(Edward Bernays)

Advice: Don't count on Cable News to tell you what is going on in the world, they are agents for others the truth is only told when it furthers their agenda. Don't be a pariot for the propagandists. Check out the energy situation in Texas, see the articles below:

Drilling cut?

There has been more oil drilling in the USA in the last four years than in any time since the original Dallas TV show was on the air.

The Obama administration announced that it's opening more areas in the Arctic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico for oil and gas drilling.

The Department of Interior plans 15 potential lease sales from 2012 to 2017, including 12 in the Gulf of Mexico and three off the coast of Alaska in the Chukchi Sea, Beaufort Sea and Cook Inlet Planning Areas. It's on track to hold the first sale later this year.

What were you saying about oil drilling cut?

The pipeline hasn't been cut; it's being rerouted.

Next?

There has been a huge surge in U.S. oil drilling, up nearly 60% in the past year and the highest total since at least 1987.

Up 60% in the last year. 60%!!

What were you saying about Obama cutting oil drilling?

Jeez, what a moron.

There are presently 3858 oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico.

"Since we put in place new safety standards in the wake of the Gulf oil spill, we have approved more than 400 drilling permits"
Ken Salazar, Secretary of the Interior

400 more

And Obama won't let them drill?

How stupid can the Republicans get?

Here we have some right wing nuts trolling on the thread. Observe the lack of appreciation for their own intelligence. No doubt victims of the rabid FOX. Symptoms include lack of facts, hysteria complex, bigotry, and so on and so on.
Good to know that England has brought back the old FOX hunting days back. Tally Ho through out the land.
Germany is activate in weaseling out their right wing nuts, for deportation or incarceration. Civilized people are losing tolerance for their arrogant ignorance and the destruction that they exhibit.
Here in the FOX’s den a stirring of their pups, exposure of their upbringing is being documented. First step to their eradications?? http://youtu.be/qrdfRAaSWj0
