Romney's Tax Plan Would Slash His Own Taxes

There are 42 comments on the theweek.com story from Jan 24, 2012, titled Romney's Tax Plan Would Slash His Own Taxes. In it, theweek.com reports that:

Why's everyone up in arms about Romney's tax records? The Week suggests there are seven reasons, but we think there are really just two:

1. Romney pays low taxes on a gigantic income by using legal loopholes like offshore accounts. He actually pays way less tax than most people in his income bracket, who pay on average 25%. (Gingrich pays close to 31%.)

2. Under Romney's tax plan, his own tax rate would be cut in half. (Under Newt's tax plan, he would pay nothing.)

Weigh in: Will Romney's his wealth and tax records make him a bad president? /i>

Obama ring a bell????

Try explaining poverty to those living in the Ozarks or the Appalachian region of America. You guys speak as if there aren't Millions of White American living in extreme poverty in an around America who are dependent on the Federal and State Government for basic survival.

As a matter of principle, look at what the White Settlers in Alaska have done to the Native Eskimos in Alaska, all the way to dividing up oil royalties that were originally intended for the Native Eskimos who were displace from their lands to accommodate the Oil Companies in 1969.

It's not the rate it's the internal policies, I can pretty much guarantee you he'll do all he can to continue the "Carried Interest" policy. There is no way he wants his activities from Leverage Buyout reclassified as ordinary income, which it is by any other means of purchasing and selling assets in a market place.

I think Romney is one of the decent ones filing an income tax return. He does it honestly and pays the taxes he owes. He didn't write the tax code, so why should he pay more than is required?
Whoever wrote this headline has no clue what Romney's plan is...so they make up crap to spew. Sounds like sour grapes.
