Is our healthcare at risk? We count on our state agencies and cuurent healthcare providers to protect us, to keep us safe. However, two area hospitals that serve our friends and family were recently sold and it seems no one is paying attention to the backgrounds of the buyers. Both Roxborough Memorial Hospital and Warminster Hospital were purchased by a group called Solis Health Services, headed by Robert Souaid. Although he may have a successful history of buying up properties, including healthcare facilities, his relation to Victor Souaid is a huge red flag.
Victor Souaid was also a member of the healthcare community before being sentenced to over four years in prison for diluting cancer prevention drugs and defrauding insurance companies for $1.5 million. He ruined the lives of hundreds of Floridians and crimes like his are the reason health insurance costs continue to go through the roof. Is this the type of ownership group we want doing business in our community? Are these the hands we want our loved ones in when they are suffering? I think this community and the offcials of this state should take a little closer look at who they are dealing with.

I do not think Robert Souaid has any relation to Victor Souaid. Please check your information and offer an apology to Robert Souaid, whose reputation is impeccable.

As you are not sure Robert has no relation with Victor why should there be an apology. Are you sure his reputation is impeccable?

In reply to this person, Robert Souaid is of NO relation to Victor Souaid. How do I know? I am Victor's brother and we have no relatives called Robert in the USA. Get your facts sraight before you make accusations but i guess that is the American way....
also, go back and read the sentencing...there are no charges of drug dilution only medicare related fraud...
