Wow I've been reading through these comments...glad to see In not the only one who thinks this company treats their employees like crap, they work my team like slaves only to complain and blame us for every little thing. Its a thankless job.even when I worked recovery things were bad.tl's and lod s let their favs get away with murder while I work like crazy to finish my job AND pick up others slack. I love plano but I dont like the way management treats us.

Target's upper management is trully bad. I recently applied for a team lead position after working there for four years and being a college graduate and was denied. The person that took the job had no idea how Guest service worked let alone managing the front lanes, which is what I have done in four years. I felt qualified enough for the job but I guess it wasnt good enough for them. Lets just say I decided to look for another place to work.

If I had 4 years in and decided to find other employment I think that I would drop a line with my complaint(s) and reason for leaving to someone far enough up the food chain that might just have enough input to get some of the stupidity taken out of the system.

Complaining locally probably wouldn't work but if it was sent to the EVP HR Jodeen Koziak it might get read. That name comes from a list of Execs at T. found at: http://targetfiling.blogspot.com/

If you are still at T when you send it the worst that could happen is you get canned and get 99 months of unemployment.

Unfortunately Target execs, like most companies execs don't care. Companies have changing the name of Personnel to Human Resources for a reason. A resource is something to be used at the companie's discretion and when they deem it no longer necessary, costing too much or used up, they discard it. Hence, they see workers in the same way ! No loyalty, no resonsibility, when they have enough of you, your discarded !

Target Manager Fired For Working Through Lunch

Jason Kellner worked at the Target store in Oxford, Alabama as a Senior Team Leader and sometimes Leader on Duty for 8 years until firing 9/13/2011. His ending rate of pay was $20.37 per hour.

Plaintiff and other STLs had complained at meetings about not getting uninterrupted 30 minute meal breaks. Shortly after that Defendant Target terminated him for working during his 30 minute breaks which is contrary to Target policy, ie: "performing work activities" without being clocked in”.

Plaintiff disputes that and files in Federal Court claiming he was fired in retaliation for his initial complaints.

I work as a pharmacy tech in target. They are making me work on black Friday as a cashiering which i have never done. Can they make me work in the front end even though my job tittle is Pharmacy tech or can i refuse to work as a cashiering.I know that is mandatory to work black friday and i will but only as a pharmacy tech. I dont know what to do, please advice!

Is it possible to have posted a copy of the FrontEnd News from sometime early spring that explains only Target coupons should be reduced in price on items that do not exceed the value of the coupon?

I am quite tired of the local Target store trying to price adjust manufacturer coupons. Not only does it violate the terms of the coupon redemption policies from every manufacturer, it has forced me to shop Walmart more extensively. Is this really the Target store's goal, to make me shop Walmart?

I was verbally assaulted by a Target HQ HR employee of 18 years at a CVS store the other day. She came up to me and started screaming, "f**k you b***h", because she didn't like hearing what I had to say about Target management to the clerk. If that ever happens again, I'm calling the police, the media, and then my lawyer.

I would of Report it to lod or etl-ge without delay. You can report it to your etl-hr now too. Ap guy should of not done this action. Not guest friendly.

Target offers health insurance for domestic partners at least in a few states. My question is will the offer still hold if my boyfriend and I are registered domestic partners being a heterosexual couple?
