So i got fired July 30th. Got fired the 21st of August.Today.
Let me explain my situation, target is 4.6 miles from my house, i worked as an early morning flow team member. I WALK to work. it takes me 2.5 hours to walk there. I leave my house by 1:30 to arrive by 3:30.
I've worked in softlines (clothes) the entire time i've been there. Never even been to the other side of the store (the freezer/ house section). The LOD told me to go to C (office stuff) and then go to baby to push the things in the cart. I couldn't find C, i was in E and ended up in N.(wtf?) and so i just went to baby instead, there were no carts in baby, so i found C and there were no carts there either. The LOD found me and told me i was wondering around Which i wasn't, and then he told me i was texting.(who's up at 4 in the morning for me to txt? no one) I told him i was looking for C and that i wasn't texting, we Walked to the end of C, there were no carts (like i said) and there was just a pallet full of heavy boxes. He told me i was wasting time, and he was confused because everyone else could find C but me (regardless of the fact i had never been there). Then he fired me.
If bringing your phone out on the sales floor is not allowed, why does EVERYONE in softlines do it? Another worker even admitted to an LOD that she was on the phone talking to her daughter. But i get in trouble for something i'm not doing? that same worker stood there one day and was texting for at least 5 minutes, while everyone else worked.
Before this, LOD's kept targeting me for things; i wore a sleeveles shirt (the only one i had & it wasn't even mine, it was my moms), wearing a hoodie around my waist that wasn't red.
I feel like i was wrongly accused and fired. But being that all newbies are on probation and one thing can get u fired, me complaining to them about it won't do anything.
