If the old Albuterol is still being made until Dec. 2008 why can't I still get it. The Pharmacist says they can no longer get it. What's going on?

We don't think pharmacists can make much money on Warrick albuterol compared to HFA inhalers so some choose not to sell it. Others sell Armstrong CFC but not Warrick CFC- don't know why. It's possible that your pharmacist really can't get it any more from his wholesaler. Warrick stopped production over the summer in anticipation of the 12/31/08 ban- so supplies are dwindling.
