what terrible journalism.
The Tesla IPO opened above estimates of 14-16 dollars at 17. So at 21 it is still well above Tesla's initial price.

To be clear, the stock price of Tesla's IPO was $17 per share, briefly spiked up to 30, then settled down around $21. That's a 23% increase, not the 30% decrease this article suggests. Also, what does short circuited mean in the context of this article? It seems to not have any meaning here beyond a vague negative idea. The premise that the Tesla factory is anything but positive for the region it is in was not supported in this article.

What a horribly constructed article!
No wonder you didn't put your name on it -- I would not have either.
First, Tesla's stock selling for $21 per share is not a bad thing.
In its initial offering, it sold for $17.
21 > 17.

Who among his board, co-founders, and "others" is Musk feuding with?
Who are these critics who claim Musk isn't a co-founder of Tesla?
(hey wait, you're a "critic", right?).

Why the snarky remark about his ex?

How is a car company set to put out their product in 2012 "short-circuited"?

"Critics" claim the author of this article might have an acute case of sour grapes, due to some financial interest he or she may have had in Tesla being stationed in Downey, or, a major holder in oil stocks, who would just LOVE to see anything relying on renewable energy to fail.
