Hi,
I am using Windows 2000 OS. Some months back, i was having Symantec installed on my system and was able to scan and scedult virus scanning files..
but now its not visible and disappeared.
now, when i tried to install that tool , hp_sav.exe file trying to configures Symantec Antivirus but at the end of installation progress , its just reverting back and failed. Its saying something like, Antivirus SAV10.1 failed to install, please attempt to reinstall this package.
I tried more than 6 times with following proper procedures to install it.
Its behaving weirdly!!!!
I am difficult to find out what could be the problem to install this on Windows 2000. Do i have to migrate 2000 to XP for successful installation

Get this utility from Symantec and it will remove the install cleanly and retry it. NoNav removal is the name of it.

Yes Todd, i ran NoNav from symantec and removed the old version totally and tried to install the latest Symantec 10.1 but it failed to install. I think Windows 2000 doesn't support the latest version 10.1
I doesn't have any problem while installing Syamntec Antivirus 9.05.
Whats the solution to install 10.1 on Windows 2000??
