It seems the more money involved, the less congress performs their role of oversight. How about if they figure out where the first half trillion went before they spend the second half.

Actually, my prediction is a currency crisis, with lots of inflation, due to inability to borrow all the trillions. An attempt to borrow and spend our way into prosperity has already caused the financial crisis, and it will get worse as the borrowing to pay for all the 'stimulus' and bailouts bankrupts the united states.

We're all thinking it, so I'll say just say it: Is this a case of racism? Doesn't he trust our new president to spend the money wisely?

Good. I hope U.S. Rep. Walz will also be reluctant to release funds for reparations for African Americans and Africans from Africa. This will bring a flood of poor blacks from Africa to America looking for a handout, and black on white crime in America will soar! And so will your taxes!

It's about time that a politician takes responsibility by finding out the facts and declining spending on things that are going to cause us taxpayers to pay even more later. Thank you!!!

Naa...he just hasn't figured out what to do with the money himself.
