XXX called right. Your Gallant. And you don't drive truck unless you can't hire someone to take the run.
You spent a lot of that life insurance money from your wifes dead husband to by a few trucks and your going after this guy cdla driver cause you know like I know that he's related to your wifes dead husband.
I went to Gethsemane before and after you.
I and others know about your affair with Clarks wife Deb.
So I figure cdla driver is telling the truth.

Read at what is being written... most of these guys coming out of the puppy mill trucking schools do not know the basics they should be tought before giving them thier license. backing up is a skill they should know before they leave a driving school alot of the drivers can't ...knowing the basic bridge formula to see if your leagal weight or not, is a basic skill and they don't teach it. knowinghow to read a map and understanding scale miles is a basic skill they don't teach but should. all I have said is they need to expand trucking schools to 12 weeks or longer so they can do more teaching of the skills drivers really need to know. <quoted text>

I drove over the road for seven months back in 2004.I have been driving class B for the last two an half years, driving trash trucks. I been trying to go back to class A driving. There are not many companies welling to give me a chance, because to long of time frame and not enougth experience. I tried getting a refresher coursr but most places tell me I have take the whole class over for about $4600 BUCKS. That dont seem fair.

IF you go to a driving school, go to a community college. Generally, they are cheaper, more through, and you are not obligated to work for anyone. I would not recommend it at this point. If you are driving now, most places are more concerned about your driving record, tickets, accidents, other driving problems. The other thing is so many unemployed drivers are available now that you might not get a decent job even if you did go back to school. If there is one opening and they have several applicants with 10-20 years experience they probably will hire one of them. Maybe a shafty outfit would hire you, but they would hire you right now. If you now have a job driving, where you don't pay for fuel, and are hourly (you get paid until you punch out and go home), you are already doing better then a lot of guys driving "A". Fuel costs and unpaid waiting time are why a lot of us are looking for other occupations.

Long Hal Driver is a Fraud.
He does not even drive truck.
He sits on his ass in front of a couple of computer screens at Gallant Trucking on Wayland Drive in Jackson Michigan.
How else could he be on the internet posting his know it all attitude garbage 24 hours a day 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Not to mention he poisoned his wife Deb's husband Clark for his Life Insurance money according to other posts made by people who know him personally.

Thx Trucker. I am starting w/Swift in a couple weeks. All I want is the experience so I can get a local gig. It seems everyone here has a complaint. It would be nice to hear from a larger group, just to determine what the actual percentage if of "pissed off" vs "happy" vs "I'm gonna use this as a rung in my ladder to better!" Thanks again Trucker and you be safe out there!!

I have driven with Swift for five years. Being the largest company out there you will fing those who will speak well of the company and those who will knock it. It is big enough that you can find what you want to do. You must just keep talking to drivers and find out what they are doing what acccounts they asigned to. Afterword you have to prusue the job you want and keep after it until you get it. With almost 20.000 drivers for the company there will always be those who will find something to complain about. The company has treated me fairly over the time that I have spent with them. It is a good company to get expernce with then if you wnat to go somewhere else that is fine. Good luck and I hope that you find what you want.

However, the Department of Safety did say that search warrants were issued for the Department of Safety's part-time drivers' license center, which is located at the Swift facility.
The Department of Safety said it has temporarily suspended issuing commercial drivers' licenses to truck drivers at the Memphis Swift Transportation location until the fbi investigation is complete.
Memphis is the hub for Swift Transportation and is open 24 hours a day. All night travel for Swift truckers across the country is monitored there.
According to the company's web site, Swift also owns a Mexican based carrier called Nuevo Laredo and offers crossing services at all major Mexican border check points.
The company also makes deliveries to every Canadian province.
In addition to the FBI investigation, a number of other agencies are working with the FBI, including immigration and customs.

He is 100% Right.
I know this for fact as that I am the one who
turned in Swift for giving out CDL Class A's to people who were under the influences of Anti-Psychotic Drugs and to other persons who were
not legally able to obtain a CDL in this Country because they were from Countries on our Governments Terrorist Watch List.

the trailer should move about 275lbs per hole.
the fifth wheel about 400-500 lbs per hole.
best way to tell is to move it and reway it.

My advice to any new comers to trucking is learn driving from this company and switch to more reputable company after two years.
In addition, most SWIFT shop technicians don't know how to repair. They pay some shop foreman to act like he owns the shop. I was once in Edwardsville, KS trying to get some simple repairs for my Volvo from company's shop, this guy called "John" spent 15 minutes talking trash with his tech people before he wrote down anything on the repair list, totally unprofessional. They suppose to help drivers that is why they are there.

one thing I know about swift, they put a driver through school send him out on a trk for a few weeks training he gets back passed his training with a mentor 3 weeks later they make him a mentor now heres a wantabe driver don't know the first thing about going off the grapevine or cabbage, wolfcreek pass without the help of a jake brake most of them don't know how to slide trailer tandams to get to the 53'mark or how to get weight legal so stay away from swift trks on the road I know a few of them that are real good drivers 5% of the force maybe. now logs are another story
