QUOTE:White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said the trucking project was killed in the 2009 omnibus appropriations bill, but President Barack Obama has asked his administration to create a new program.

This is exactly what I was talking about. God knows what this open border, socialist, Democrat will come up with. You can rest assured it WILL NOT be in the interest of Americans and WILL be in the interest of future Democratic voters they are pandering to.

Then McCain, another open border idiot is all upset that we are being so mean towards Mexico. Screw you McCain. The entire program was wrought with problems. Mexico has no working centralized data base to be accessed by US law enforcement officers to check on the drivers from Mexico. No data base to track the safety records of the companies and their equipment. It is a safety nightmare for US law enforcement. I know firsthand since I have former co-workers who deal with it as well as my son and two nephews in law enforcement who deal with it. My son was glad to see the program stopped before it got any better legs.

The most telling fact is that there were very few US companies that filed to utilize the program to operate their trucks in Mexico. I would only operate an armored personnel carrier or ultimately a tank in Mexico so I could at least have the upper hand in firepower.

John, are you kidding? Here's a hint, pal, voters are not the end game.....cheap freaking labour is!!! Maybe instead of parroting Rush Limpbaugh and Slanthead you might educate youself on the subjects of "free" trade and open borders. Your precious republicans started this downward spiral and, believe me, they aim to finish it. Super Bowl Sunday will end when you and I are working for third world wages and labouring in an unregulated sweatshop while the Moyes, Waltons and Madoffs of this country are towel snapping each other's asses in a member's only clubhouse. Unfortunately, it's koolaide drinkers like you who are making it not only possible, but probable they will take home the trophy. Your ignorance is their steroid, John, which makes you "The One" they are counting on to grind out the yardage so they can stroll into the endzone unbruised and on their way to Disneyland.

The Mexican carrier for Swift is called Trans Mex, and is located in Nuevo Laredo. Please research more carefully before posting.

Also, Swift has been under investigation for over a decade due to it training program, so please, don't let your head swell up by thinking you were the catalyst behind the investigation.

However, the Department of Safety did say that search warrants were issued for the Department of Safety's part-time drivers' license center, which is located at the Swift facility.
The Department of Safety said it has temporarily suspended issuing commercial drivers' licenses to truck drivers at the Memphis Swift Transportation location until the fbi investigation is complete.
Memphis is the hub for Swift Transportation and is open 24 hours a day. All night travel for Swift truckers across the country is monitored there.
According to the company's web site, Swift also owns a Mexican based carrier called Nuevo Laredo and offers crossing services at all major Mexican border check points.
The company also makes deliveries to every Canadian province.
In addition to the FBI investigation, a number of other agencies are working with the FBI, including immigration and customs.
He is 100% Right.
I know this for fact as that I am the one who
turned in Swift for giving out CDL Class A's to people who were under the influences of Anti-Psychotic Drugs and to other persons who were
not legally able to obtain a CDL in this Country because they were from Countries on our Governments Terrorist Watch List.
We need thousands more citizens like you who become our "eyes and ears" since our Government doesn't seem to believe it owes us protection.

Thank you for the good work.
