Why wouldnt you do a backround chk if you are going to fingerprint somebody. Sounds like they police were on the defensive. Probably got it trouble with local pols on the "how dare you check an elite person" mantra. Pay your taxes rich boy.

Between the scuzzy bar owners and the skanky washed up politicians polluting the place, the Hamptons of yore have gone way, WAY downhill.

Florida catches a lot of out of state felons and sends them back to wherever they came from. Traffic stops are a great way for checking people out.

I'm guessing he drove to the Sag Harbor Police Station to get finger printed, so give him a ticket for driving without a license!

Why is it when the RICH get caught for failing to pay their taxes they all have the same stock answer, I wasn't aware of it. My attorney was handling the matter. Must be a great deal of DUMB attorney's out there. Maybe homeowners that fall behind on their taxes should start using the same excuse, it seems to work all the time for the RICH.

The "Hamptons" were ruined officially about 10 years ago. I grew up here and the place is a disgusting mess full of city people, transplants, and hordes of trash from Jersey and Nassau County. As soon as the market goes up again I'm out of here, and I'll sell to some citiot or retired couple from Jersey or Westchester.

Instead of bars, they should put a velvet rope in his cell, so he can feel right at home.

no, no, no. read the entire sentence.

"The warrant, issued April 28 by the office of state attorney in Palm Beach County, stems from two criminal charges of theft of sales tax and grand theft dating to April 2007,..."

try adding a comma:
... and grand theft, dating to April 2007 ...
