I have a basic policy. If you offshore you don't get my money. I'll buy something second hand first if I have to. We may get the corporate tax but the people suffer while the major shareholders spend 100 days a year in Aspen. Not for me.

I worked for Seagate back in the early '80's and was laid off twice: once while seagate retooled for the a new faster product; the second time when Seagate lost a contract with IBM after IBM lost a federal contract when it was learned that IBM was using seagate disk drives in thier computors sold to the government that seagate made in Singapore.
you see, back then there was a law that the federal government could not purchase goods made in foreign countries.
That law has since been changed by our representative law makers allowing corporations to outsource production to third world countries. I am just suprized that anything sold by seagate is still made in the US. Thank goodness for the concept of assembled in the US.
Good Luck and happy New Year.

Daily Horoscope for November 28

Aquarius

With so much to do and so much on your mind, you may feel scattered today. It will be easy to forget dates and appointments, so consider setting an alarm to remind you of important meetings. You may be a bit over-extended and preoccupied at the same time. The telephone may be ringing constantly, providing yet another distraction. Try to focus.
