St. Jude sees 16% surge in earnings
St. Jude Medical posted a 16 percent jump in second-quarter earnings Thursday and raised its full-year forecast, backed by sales gains in heart-rhythm devices that shook off concerns about rising economic pressure and declining prices in medical device markets.
