Save us some tax dollars, put them to work fixing up the golf course...and maintain the greens for the rest of the summer or caddy for a few old geezers...

DWW - I am with you 100%. I may have done a few stupid things when I was young, but I would never destroy or take someone else's proprty. I was raised well and taught to respect other people.

And at 18, 19 & 20....shouldn't they be doing something a little more constructive with their time.

They should be forced to pay back every cent of what they destroyed as well as community service. If they have enough time to do this, then they have plenty of time on their hands to pay back the gold course and the community.

The Chinese system of justice is entirely different from ours. There are some things they do, that make a lot of sense. The punishment for teen age crime such as this is; You are laid down with your bare behind exposed. A very strong man with a very strong cane, beats your behind for a considerable time, and only stops when it gets too messy. You bear the scars on your behind for life.! A bit crude, but very effective. One thing is for sure, it gives teen agers something to think about before they think it might be fun to commit a little vandalism.
Thats why the chinese have such a high suicide rate. Why not Singapore where they execute people for less offensive crimes.

The punishment should be to fix the course and the carts out of the parents and the kids pockets.

Youth is not an exuse for committing criminal mischief and property damage.

The carts should be disabled when not it use.

Blame the management as well.

Sounds like another insurance fraud.
The kids were probably hired to do this.
