There's a simple fact about energy supplies. We need more of them, and we need those we can control. That is, US enery sources, produced by US workers, operated by US companies. Since we won't be energy independant any time soon, there is nothing wrong with building an LNG terminal here in California to accept foreign supplies. It would be built and operated by American workers, and it should be operated by an American company. Keep the money, and the jobs, and the energy right here at home. Drive down the prices. Why should that importing business be permitted to go to Costa Azul? Why should those jobes be in Mexico? Why should we then have to import gas from Mexico and it's corrupt government? We should never give up our space on the El Paso line either. What on earth could the PUC be thinking? It has just been proven that we lie at the mercy of foreign governments for energy supplies which are quite vital to our lives. Why would we allow that to continue?
