Too bad they refuse to follow up on tips as to people selling their cards at 50% shortly after they're filled every month!

Lots of illegals commit fraud when signing up for foodstamps, and failing to declare all the members of the said household's earnings...sound familiar??? The law should be breathing down your prevaricating neck soon.

.....and anyone should be surprised that ILLEGALS would go on to break other laws, exactly WHY???? Zebras don't suddenly show up wearing polka dots, if ya know what I mean.

Sadly, I do, and unfortunately the reason so few are contributing to the coffers is because fraud is so rampant in the free social services system. There are far too many who prefer the soft life to one of work, personal repsonsiblity and self-reliance...illegals and Americans alike.

I don't know about where you live, but I do know about what happens where I live. Every program to help the needy isn't coordinating with the others, thus the illegals are in line numerous times for handouts and they get them. If you mention there's a problem with the system, you're called a racist. Oh I forgot, most of them show up in Escalades with manicured nails, cell phones and a minimum of 5 kids.

I saw a quote that my state now has over 25% of the population on some kind of government hand-out. As I'm sure is true elsewhere, the rate in some particular areas are about 76%-80%(maybe more).

Thus the problem. By ever increasing the numbers on some kind of aid, the pols know they have a built-in voting bloc that will fight any reduction in the controlled nanny state.Self-reliance is definitely becoming an endangered principle in America. If the pols cared a whit about our future, they'd stop but, of course, they only care about their own power and entitlements so I feel pretty pessimistic sometimes.

At one time there used to be a stigma attached to getting food stamps. People actually felt bad because they had to take a government hand out. Unfortunately that no longer is the case.

My girlfriend doesn't feel bad, unless it's from morning sickness. She deserves the assistance.

But she has two children who are citizens and they get government assistance. And she'll be having one more in April.

She is making a living off her kids...not a very responsible thing to do. People who do that are setting their kids up to be dependent upon the government as well. Shame on her and you for your bogus stories.

I just heard on the radio, Porky Pelosi's next plan: We want to do for child care what we did for health care ie: free child care, formula, health care. She's out of her mind, out of control and as far as I'm concerned a cheat!
