I am not sure why so negative. BMOC is dead Colonial Mall dead. Jobs are scarce. Is this being put up in your backyard? The area needs business. The amount of people that travel to outlets bring business to the area, not only the outlets. Personally, I love shopping and have two jobs to spend my money as I please. We all have choices and if YOU do not want to go, don't go.

We need more than the monopoly of Walmart and Lowe's taking our money. I have teenagers that need jobs. You are being selfish, we are no longer in the delusioanl state of not being competative. Mebane is the new Cary let's kick it up a notch.

Why in the world wouldn't they just buy out the corspe of the BMOC and build this new outlet center there? Such a waste!
if they did that the corpse's ghost would overshadow the new mall and be bad for business.

What we need its better restaurants sick of fast food and fried food and entertainment for kids, like the movies, ice rink. But most of all what we really need is new schools especially HS. Not shopping when people are out of jobs. My husband has been without one for 1 year now and there is nothing here.

Well, I used to live in Burlington, NC and I'm glad for the county to have the outlets. My biggest suggestion is that they do need an adequate transporatation system in alamance county, to releive some of this traffic. I understood thta they once upon a time had transporation. So the county need to invest in that. Shame on you people from Greensboro, NC talking all that about Burlington, NC, let it be. To hell with taxes thats apart of living. Can't stay down for long.

I agree completely, TALKMAN. Buck Johnston always speaks the truth, and he takes the shortest route to do so. But, then again, so do you. Some folks just cannot take the truth. And they're stupid enough to think that by doing so, they can turn the attention away from the topic at hand. They can't.

No, that person to whom you responded is NOT BUCK JOHNSTON. It was the idiot who is trolling for the posts by BUCK and by me. He was simply quoting verbatim a post that I wrote in either this forum or another forum. I'm not taking the time to go back and find it. Notice the "address". This little troll's is Wilson, that crotch place that ruins the rest of the eastern part of NC. So NO, BUCK JOHNSTON was not praising himself, nor referring to himself in the third person. You responded to the silly little troll.
