Who cares? If there is a need, another airline will move in and take up the slack.

This is not news! Yeah, i gotta agree with you here.

P.R's airport is super enough busy as it is. The island is the literal gateway to the rest of the carribbean. The only exception being Havana.

Their are many airlines that presently serve San Juan. It will remain that way for the forseeable future.

I just wonder if OW employees will get bumping rights about both MQ and OW.

Sure won't make AMRican's too happy if this is the case if they are displaced in ORD LGA DFW and other places.

Seedy little biz this airline industrty isn't it.

It sure won't make other AMRican's too happy if this is the case and if they are displaced in ORD LGA DFW and other places across the AMR system.

Seedy little biz this airline industry isn't it. On another note, doesn't it sound logical to try and displace a workforce prior to a sell or merger or divestiture of OW or MW. Hmmm makes one think more is at work or stake here.

AA can't leave SJU, SW doesn't go there.

Prost, don't bet anything on that assumption,

and

One has to recall our latest relationship with JetBlue and we have to speculate that they may be filling the gap we leave behind.

Check their system map and you will see a heavy concentration of Caribbean destinations. Why go head to head with them and lose the battle? Sorry if I seem to be too optimistic. Most of my career was during the Crandall years and you have to think like him.

Ah yes, JetBlue. They are the ones doing our transcon flying now out of SAN. They took our BOS, the JFK redeye and mid day turn. I got so engrained to things like Air Cal and Reno air routes and most recently STL getting sucked up by SW. I forgot to look over the other sholder.
