I heard from other cities that Shot Spotter has failed miserably. Shot Spotter records thousands of gunshots but only a very few are ever confirmed. Ask them for their records. I heard they are extremely difficult to deal with from other cities. Do we really want to spend our tax money on this ineffective technology? Did anyone fully do the research on Shot Spotter before making this important decision?
