I am going to assume that the dog did not make it. The person that did this is a POS and I hope that he pulls his gun when confronted by police.

True or False

The law in York city is that when in public an owner of a dog must keep it on a lease and under control at all times.

Maybe the dog was in his own yard trying to do his business before going to bed, don't make assumptions without the whole story.

It's a good bet the shooter was using a stolen
weapon. Also It's a good bet, the shooter doesn't
belong In this country.

Dog owners have to keep dogs on a lease? Does that mean they have to make payments??
I wish the law in York city was people had to get an education or automatically go to jail.

Nothing in this article says the dog was in public or not under control. For all you know, it could have been in a fenced yard or on a LEASH in the back yard. But regardless...not being on a leash is no excuse to shoot a dog. I love our safe city!

Then maybe you should move to Russia and attempt to foment a resurrection of the Soviet system. That was one of their central tenets. Authoritarians love education camps.

How can you be so ignorant. When on proprty it can run loose. Saying that I Do not think shooting the animal for no good reason is stupid. and the person responsible should pay.

Ya know, maybe those Authoritarians were not so far off the mark after all, look what our broken parent and so called educational system has produced. Read many of the posts and see for your own eyes! Grammar is one thing, but for people to understand what you are expressing, spelling is paramount...

There are so many questions here in this article. Was the dog in his own yard? Was he not? Was the gun registered and why would someone be out at midnight carrying a gun? Was the gunman just bored? And who the hell cares if someone misspells the word "leash"? Aside from self defense, this guy should be hung by his......

If it was a legitimate shooting the shooter would have called 911 to report the shots and waited for police to file a report.

Its pretty sad that the mayor of York can travel to New York to be a tragedy vulture and preach for tougher gun laws. However, she is always absent when something happens here at home.
