considering how long some of these drugs have been on the market, i wonder why their safety was not looked at more closely before.

I'm an allergy sufferer. Asthma is something I've always been grateful to have avoided.

Asthma attacks are a scary thing to witness. Seems like we should have better drugs/treatment available by now.

Inhalers can be good for long distance running. Other asthma drugs...I'm not sure about.

Kind of terrifying to think that the medicine you use for your own well-being could actually end up hurting you in the end.

My mom takes Serevent for her asthma. I'm going to tell her to ask her doctor what this means.
I used to have asthma but I grew out of it, I think running helped a lot.

I used to take Ventolin for my asthma but I think it went away as I started to exercise more. My mother takes Serevent and hearing that doctors are saying it's unsafe is definitely worrying. She's been taking it a long time, i'm going to ask her to call the doctor.

How about if you take Foradil for COPD?
Is it still bad stuff? Are they recalling it
or just advising Asthma users not to use it?

I use Advair Diskuss for my asthma and because of the steroid component in it, I gained over twenty pounds in a year and a half. Not a very good side affect when you also have high blood pressure.

I got off of Advair because of the “long-acting beta 2-adrenergic agonists”(LABA) component in the inhaler. The LABA component is unpredictable in which yields the FDA's -Black Box Warning, of which is just stops short of taking the product off the market.

The truth of the matter is that no one is immune from asthma or any of the various other forms respiratory ailments.(e.g. Seasonal or Chronic Bronchitis, Reactive Airway Disease and so on)

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Aquarius

You're full of energy and determination right now, especially when it comes to nailing an ambition or making a name for yourself. You'll want to give it your best shot, and you'll get very annoyed if you feel your efforts are being frustrated by others. Watch out for a rather tense atmosphere with someone older or more influential than you, as this could lead to a row.
