I'm there.

Someone has to report the truth.

Actually, the issue here isn't relevant. Campaigns cost money. Who would have thunk it?

Obama Targets McCain and Palin on 'Change'
"Everywhere I go we've been talking about change, that's been the theme of the campaign. And we must be on to something, because I notice now everyone's talking about change now,"..."John McCain has said that change is coming!" Obama laughed, "Now think about this coming from the party that's been in charge for 8 years, they've been running the show! Been up in the White House, John McCain brags,'90% of the time I have voted with George Bush. He and I we we're right there' and suddenly he's the change agent!"....

"He says I'm going to tell those lobbyists that their days in Washington are over. Who's he gonna tell? Is he gonna tell his campaign chairman who's one of the biggest corporate lobbyists in Washington? Is he going to tell all the folks who are running his campaign who are the biggest corporate lobbyist in Washington? Who is it that he's going to tell that change is coming?"...

"I mean come on, they must think you're stupid!"

"I mean maybe what they're saying is 'watch out George Bush' you know except for economic policies, and tax policies, and energy policies, and health care policies, and education policies, and Karl Rove style of politics – except for all that, we're really going to bring change to Washington! We're gonna shake things up! What are these guys talking about? Do you think we haven’t been paying attention over the past 8 years?"

"I know the governor of Alaska has been, you know, saying she is change. And that is great. She is a skillful politician. But when you been taking all these earmarks when it is convenient and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person. That is not change, come on. I mean, words mean something. You can't just make stuff up. You can’t just make stuff up. We have a choice to make and the choice is clear."

"Don't be fooled. These are the folks who have been in charge. John McCain's party, with the help of John McCain, has been in charge."

What did the Republican politician say when asked if he'd ever taken a poll?
Yes. But it was consensual.

and when the poll got pregnant (polls don't take birth control) the republican stepped up and became a real person and didn't kill the little poll baby, before, during or after the birth.

What I am seeing emerging in Sarah Palin is a person who's beliefs are way outside the mainstream of America. This country has been held back in so many ways because of the anti-science that has "guided" this current administration. The interest of teaching creationism (or "intelligent design" - the made up pseudo-science) as an alternative viewpoint, the removing of a woman's or family's right to choose, the desire to further assault our environment, the erosion of our Constitution, and the assumption that our war's are God's wars, will ultimately be the ruination of this wonderful country of ours. We are already seeing the seeds of this with the failing of our economy, hundreds of thousands of people losing their homes nationwide, and other countries around the world losing faith in the United States. Those of us supporting Obama/Biden are not interested in continuing to walk down this path.
We love this country too much.

Mr. Obama will be juggling events again the next day in New York, heading first to the Hyatt Hotel where members of the “host committee” who contribute or raise at least $50,000 get to have a picture taken with him, followed by a reception for those who contribute smaller amounts.

I find it interesting that Obama is "the biggest celebrity in the world" because he drawls huge crowds to his events for FREE. But for $50,000k you can get your picture taken with Palin, who is some sort of "every" town (as long as they have white picket fences and not Thai restaurants on the corner) USA reformer.

Am I the only one who sees something out of place here.

It sure sounds like they're saying that Obama does the same thing. Is there evidence he is throwing multi-thousand dollar-a-head fundraiser dinners? I'd like to see it.

"Both presidential tickets are talking a big game about reform, but it seems to get the opportunity to reform they play the same old game and raise money from deep-pocketed donors at exclusive events," Ritsch said.

She is in way over her head - probably thinks she's important - maybe she is for a couple of weeks since she brought McCain up in the polls BUT when he comes down or loses the election...guess who is the fall guy?

Yes, Obama's vote against giving medical attention to an unwanted baby is abominable.

Obama is a maggot for voting against the Bill in Ill even though the US Senate unanimously approved it.
