I had a situation today occur when I tried to buy back shares of google. I tried to buy the shares on the trading window at market. When I clicked on the buy box the execute smartex window appeared, under the order type box, trailing stop was showing. I clicked on the drop down arrow and clicked on market. Market would not stay in the window, it would keep changing back to trailing stop. I could not execute the trade. I immediately called a broker with Schwab, after waiting 20 minutes on hold I finally got up with a broker. I asked the broker to put the order in at market for me. Instead of placing the order the broker wanted to try to figure out the problem. I continued to try with his assistance to fix the issue, at the same time telling him to just place the trade. After 15 minutes of listening to the broker I became quite outraged and told him I was done trying and that he needed to place the trade like I asked him to do some 15 minutes earlier. By the time he put the trade in at market I had lost over $1500. I want to know if anyone else has had problems similar or trouble with streetsmart pro.

Streetsmart Pro cancels your stop loss bracket order on your original order if you enter a subsequent sell limit order. This is nuts!
The only warning you get is a vague message when you place the sell order that your bracket order may be secondary to this order. They should explicitly tell you that they are canceling your stop loss order, or reject the sell order.
